Many curling irons apply excessive heat to the outer layer of hair, raising the cuticle and permitting humidity to enter the shaft, resulting in puffed up, dry frizz. The Infrarose employs an infrared light strip to emit wavelengths that penetrate deep into the follicle, ensuring even heat distribution for quick, long lasting curls. Infrared technology allows the hair to heat from the inside out, drawing moisture from deep inside the cortex. This process, which basically steams the hair instead of frying it, penetrates the hair at a lower temperature to eliminate static and frizz. The Infrarose flaunts an extra long, 1” tourmaline gemstone barrel to further lock in moisture for healthy, hydrated curls. Most hot styling tools produce a significant amount of positive ions that open the cuticle and let important moisture escape, causing dry and brittle strands. The Infrarose, on the other hand, is made with tourmaline (a semi-precious stone) that releases an abundance of beneficial negative ions to neutralize the positive ions, keeping the cuticle closed, smooth and shiny. Tourmaline is an excellent heat conductor that can quickly reach high temperatures for fast and harm-free styling, providing the curler with a super smooth surface so hair can glide fluidly through the barrel without pulling and tugging on the strands. The Infrarose’s extra long barrel further speeds up styling with its capacity to section off wider portions of hair with ease. The Infrarose has a versatile temperature gauge and digital screen that allows you to watch the curler quickly heat up to your desired temperature of anywhere from 170º to 410ºF, making it perfect for all hair types and styling techniques. If you use other tools with a dial heat setting, you don’t actually know what extreme temperature is being used on the hair, or if it’s being evenly distributed throughout the iron or not.
